There is just peace for the Wetlands of the Adige river run by volunteers of the "La Verbena."
In the night between Saturday and Sunday because the vandals are back in action on the water in the naturalistic already damaged and looted several times in the past. And, just as had happened last September when it was burned down one of the picnic tables, the thugs have taken on the equipment laid in the path that extends from the border with Lemons Bridge Villa Bartolomea. "Sunday," says Maurizio Antoniazzi, president of the association, "two volunteers, impegnati nell'abituale giro di controllo, si sono accorti che erano stati distrutti un contenitore per i rifiuti ed uno dei punti di avvistamento messi a disposizione degli appassionati di ornitologia per osservare picchi, garzette ed altre specie di uccelli che popolano gli isolotti e le sponde dell'Adige». «Siamo esasperati e ci viene da mollare da tutto anche perchè le risorse sono quelle che sono e non possiamo farci continuamente carico di riparazioni e nuovi acquisti», conclude Antoniazzi.
