Il progetto prevede la costruzione di edilizia residenziale convenzionata ed agevolata su di un lotto di 10663 mq, nella parte ovest della città di Milano, lungo via Gallarate.
- The project area is the southeastern border of a large park with residences and equipment provided by the "PII Merlata Farm" north of Via Gallarate. The main entrance to the park is located by the master at the House Merlata.
- Gallaratese The neighborhood and the surrounding areas, while still presenting the typical elements of the outskirts of Milan, are now integrated into the city.
- per accogliere e delimitare il parco e, al contempo, proteggere lo spazio condominiale rispetto alla strada, The building is concentrated along the south-west of the lot. The result of separate entities: one is building a large and massive, defined stereotomic, which forms the boundary wall, built-up area of \u200b\u200bthe park and on the other hand, within a batch and arranged more freely in the green, three volumes, defined tectonic much more permeable.
- To encourage interaction between site and the city is located on the ground floor via Gallarate a "promoter of urbanity, a function of neighborhood giving quality the space in front of the building and the park also appeals to local residents Gallaratese. The project proposes a center for music that will help to enliven the neighborhood in the evening. In parallel, you create a pedestrian path that starts from Via Gallarate and across the lot, entering the park.
In this way the whole site functions as a valve between the park and city.
This first scheme was further divided into the following account of bioclimatic factors:
- Volume stereotomic original monolithic, L, was excavated on the upper floors and completed with the addition of transverse sleeves to get the best exposure for the greatest number of dwellings. The lower floors, however, remained anchored to the ground to protect the garden from the prevailing winds in winter, from south-west.
- the offset of the towers is functional to obtain the best possible exposure to housing.
